Arguably one of the most celebrated offerings from jeffstaple‘s Staple Design imprint, the Nike Dunk Low Pro SB “Pigeon” instantly became iconic upon release on March 22, 2005. The simple yet highly coveted sneaker caused a ruckus when it unveiled, in turn contributing to the sneaker’s resale rates and the legacy of Reed Space; which became the first independent boutique to receive mainstream press coverage for a sneaker release. Sole Collector recently caught up with jeffstaple to reminisce on the collaboration, its design motif, while also speaking to those who took part in the four-day camp out leading up to the release.
