Necessity Sense Turns Sportswear on Its Head for Exclusive Capsule Range
The Taiwanese label returns with more forward-thinking designs.
Richard, Michael and Steve Hsiesh’s Necessity Sense is back, with a Lane Crawford-exclusive capsule collection. The designers once again put their progressive take on sportswear on display, with some subtle details.
Sweatpants and branded T-shirts are pretty standard fare for sport gear, but Necessity Sense undercuts the staples with clever twists – high-waisted sweatpants feature patterned stripes down the sides and T-shirts feature raglan sleeves and contemporary imagery. Varsity-style sweaters are oversized, as are the tailored goods, which include a peak lapel blazer and red satin tie. A branded wallet chain and bandana accent the wearable offering and offset the muted color palette with some visual flair.
Get a feel for the brand’s style on its website and look for the collection to hit Lane Crawford on January 14.
