adidas Originals Retroes the Quesence in Maroon
Old but not forgotten.
Even as adidas looks towards the future, it doesn’t forget the past. The footwear giant is readying a new iteration of its Quesence silhouette, with some slight updates.
A fairly obscure, old adidas model, the Quesence is getting a quiet retro. The suede and mesh upper and laces take on the eponymous maroon hue, while contrasting “Trace Blue” highlights accent the tongue, lateral side, heel and more. Silvery details on the three stripes and heel counter round out the striking, yet understated, color palette. The sleek, angled silhouette recalls EQT runners of years past, as does the slight, but indented outsole.
Retailing for $120 USD, the adidas Originals Quesence in Maroon/Trace Blue will be available from Afew on December 15. Meanwhile, size? is set to release an exclusive take on the adidas Handball.
