A Closer Look at the INVINCIBLE x NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas NMD R1

Now that the release date is known for the INVINCIBLE x NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas NMD R1, it makes sense to look closer at the highly-anticipated sneaker.
The NMD R1 silhouette features upgrades and details all around, with plenty of co-branding dotting the understated shoe. Its all-black upper sports NEIGHBORHOOD and INVINCIBLE tongue tag branding — branding also appears on the midsole bumps — while the insole and rear pull tab both feature Chinese characters. The embroidered character for fortune/good luck and tiger imagery on the rear suede heel patch are the sneaker’s only spot of color.
INVINCIBLE is set to release the shoe in-store November 24, before it sees a global release on December 29. adidas has more collaborations lined up, with a final drop of Alexander Wang x adidas Originals sneakers hitting stores November 24.
