After word surfaced that Concepts and New Balance would be revisiting its famed “Kennedy” model from 2011, we now return to provide purchasing hopefuls with a closer look.

The rebooted “Hyannis” has been reconstructed via NB’s Made in USA quality on the 999 silhouette. A nautical aesthetic is presented via its laces and lining, mixing blue and red sea-inspired graphics throughout. Beige, off-white and grey coloring are welcomed into the fold while being hosted on quality suede paneling.

Its new colorway pays respect to the Cape Cod area in which President Kennedy spent a lot of his time and flips the blue heel tab for red while the original “Kennedy” returns to commemorate the sailing culture of his native New England.

Those who missed out on the Concepts x New Balance 999 “Kennedy” launch back in 2011 will have their shot at redemption at this year’s ComplexCon on November 4. The red “Hyannis” will also be exclusively launched there.
