Collaborations, Limited Editions, Hybrids and More Make up This Week's Sneaker Launches

Filled with Nike, Jordan Brand, adidas, Balenciaga and more.

By //Footwear

Once upon a time, long before the hype pervaded popular culture, the major sneaker brands would typically deliver one, maybe two coveted releases a month, with a heavy emphasis on storytelling. Nowadays, it’s commonplace to see these different labels ditch the ‘who, what, where, when and how,’ and instead drop multiple pairs of heat in just one weekend. A welcomed dilemma for most.

With that said, we continue our weekly roundup of the most sought after silhouettes for the week, hoping to make your ‘cop or drop’ decision as easy as possible. Check out the list below and chime in on the styles you’ll be picking up.

KAWS x Air Jordan 4

Flight Club

Release Date: November 27
Release Price: $350 USD, via random lottery on KAWSONE.com

The wait is over as the KAWS x Air Jordan 4 in black is now available to the public. Initially previewed as an iteration set aside for friends and family, the follow up to March’s grey pair is being raffled off on KAWS’ official website. This drop boasts the same design as the aforementioned earlier release, but with an all-black suede upper.

Nike Air Vapormax Moc

Release Date: November 27
Release Price: $200 USD, via select Nike retailers and Nike SNKRS

Nike’s latest reiteration of the Air Vapormax sneaker makes its way to retailers. Dubbed the Air Vapormax Moc, this laceless silhouette boasts a wide lateral-side gore strap for premium lock down. Flyknit returns to the upper as it’s offered in “Triple Black” and “Multicolor” options.

A$AP Nast x Converse “Mid-Century” Collaboration

Release Date: November 27
Release Price: $100 USD/each, via Foot Locker (online only)

Following a September launch, A$AP Nast’s collaboration alongside Converse is being restocked. The drop uses the Converse One Star and Chuck Taylor All Star 70 models as canvases of expression, each hosting retro-design elements such as corduroy and plaid. The offering is also accompanied by a selection of T-shirts that read “Somewhere in mid-century,” serving as a calling to its nostalgic aesthetic.

Air Jordan 1 “Top 3”

Overkill

Release Date: November 27
Release Price: $160 USD, available in-store only. Retailer list can be found here.

Making its debut last month, the Air Jordan 1 “Top 3” dons black, gold and white coloring with slight differences in placement between the left and right sneaker. Initially dropped in a limited amount, the newly coveted colorway returns in patent leather.

PUMA Clyde “4:44”

Sneaker Politics

Release Date: November 27
Release Price: N/A, via Foot Locker’s 34th Street NYC location

The classic PUMA Clyde is here to celebrate JAY Z’s 4:44 LP. Resting atop a white sole unit, the upper hosts light tan with black branding on each lateral side. To coincide with Hov’s Tour, which made a stop in NYC recently, the heels sport “LGA” and “718” branding respectively as an ode to JAY Z’s New York roots. As an added bonus, a small amount of pairs are complemented with tickets to the concert’s NYC stop.

STASH x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon

Nike

Release Date: November 29
Release Price: $175 USD, available via select Nike retailers and Nike SNKRS

New York’s graffiti legend STASH has placed a spin on the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon model. The classic runner boasts STASH’s signature use of blue, while his calling is subtly placed on the toe, heel and as an all-over print on the sneaker’s insole.

Balenciaga Triple S Trainer

Dover Street Market

Release Date: November 30
Release Price: $850 USD via DSM London, NY, Ginza and Singapore locations

The bulky sneaker trend continues in Balenciaga‘s newest Triple S Trainer. The model has already been seen on the feet of your favorite creatives and has been made available in a small selection of color iterations. Dover Street Market is next to follow SSENSE with an exclusive edition that mixes white, grey, yellow and black.

adidas UltraBOOST 4.0 “Core White”

adidas

adidas’ UltraBOOST line will now welcome a new edition in the 4.0. Featuring a newly patterned Primeknit constructed upper, this “Core White” version is offered in tonal white with a black Continental outsole.

Nike Kyrie S1 Hybrid “What The”

Nike

Release Date: December 1
Release Price: $130 USD, available via select Nike Basketball retailers and Nike SNKRS

Kyrie Irving is next in line to join Nike’s “What The” family. Dubbed the Kyrie S1 Hybrid, you’ll find a mix of Irving’s first three signature silhouettes within this brand new model. The sneaker rests atop a Kyrie 1 outsole and studded heel counter, while its midfoot strap is taken from the Kyrie 2. The toebox material and Flywire lace system is taken from the Kyrie 3 to complete the mashup. A “What the Kyrie” stamp of approval is placed on the strap.

Air Jordan 6 (Black University Blue)

Nike

Release Date: December 2
Release Price: $190 USD, available via select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike SNKRS

Jordan Brand pays homage to Michael Jordan’s alma mater, UNC, with a new Air Jordan 6 release. Placing a spin on the popular Air Jordan 6 “Infrared,” University Blue now hits the midsole, heel, lace lock and Jumpman logo. Premium nubuck coats the upper while the sneaker’s elongated tongue returns for an easier entry.

Future x Reebok Furykaze

Reebok

Release Date: December 2
Release Price: $250 USD, via select Reebok retailers and online

Future’s hybrid sneaker with Reebok will soon launch in all-black. The silhouette mixes Reebok’s Kamikaze II and Pump Fury models to form a boot-like sneaker.
