After receiving a series of teasers, Balenciaga recently released its street-tinged Spring/Summer 2018 “SINNERS” capsule collection. Serving as a tie-in between the luxury house’s Fall/Winter 2017 and full Spring/Summer 2018 collections, the capsule is built around a “SINNERS” motif which is expressed in a bold red font. Displaying creative director Demna Gvasalia’s penchant for exaggerated silhouettes and aggressive branding, the capsule collection is comprised of outlandishly designed outerwear, sweaters, pullovers, shirts, T-shirts, jeans, bags, caps and accessories. Some standout items include the athleisure branded tracksuit jacket, oversized “SINNERS” T-shirt and matching “SINNERS” dad cap.
Retailing between $250 and $3,200 USD, Balenciaga’s “SINNERS” capsule collection is available now at Balenciaga’s online store and at select stockists.
