Alibaba's Jack Ma Makes His Acting Debut in Jet Li's 'Gong Shou Dao'

Along with being one of the world’s leading entrepreneurs, Alibaba’s Jack Ma is now being hailed as one of China’s newest screen talents. It was recently revealed that Ma will be making his acting debut, starring in Jet Li’s new martial arts film Gong Shou Dao. According to reports, the film will center around martial arts with a particular focus on Tai Chi and pays homage to some action film legends like Sammo Hung, Jet Li, Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa. Additionally, the Alibaba-produced film was born out of Ma’s love and appreciation of Tai Chi philosophy which has aided him in his business decisions.
