Pharrell and adidas celebrate the Festival of Colors
Last week Pharrell previewed a colorful iteration of the adidas Hu NMD, and today we see the full “Trail Holi” pack. Holi is a day in Hindu traditions when the people celebrate the Festival of Colors – a day when good vibes and bright colors literally overpower the physical plane, gifting perpetrators with forgiveness, and repairing relationships through positivity.
Pharrell and adidas will kick off the celebrations in 2018 with the “Blank Canvas” variations, set to release on February 23. One in a white, blank slate, the other has a black upper, with a bit of core-purple in the laces. The “Trail Holi” variations have been completely bathed in color, indistinguishable from the blank canvases that they started as before the festival. All pairs will retail for $250 USD — stay tuned for more information regarding the release.
