The Air Jordan 5 Gets a Premium "Bordeaux" Makeover

Jordan Brand continues rolling out its line of luxe sneakers under the Premium moniker, with the latest addition being the Air Jordan 5 “Bordeaux.” This drop offers several significant upgrades over the standard edition, hence the elevated price point.
A golden quilted lining is a subtle hint of the sneaker’s sumptuous textiles, which are hidden beneath an understated exterior. Taking cues from the rich reds of wine, the “Bordeaux” features a soft leather upper and waxed rope laces, keeping with the Premium line’s luxurious aesthetic. The shoe comes with special packaging and satin dust bags that mirror the bomber jets that inspired the sneaker’s design.
The Air Jordan 5 Premium “Bordeaux” releases December 14 for $400 USD. In just this week alone, Jordan Brand has revealed two new Premium models, the Air Jordan 12 Retro “Wolf Grey” and Air Jordan 1 Golf.
