Chris Hemsworth Takes Action in New '12 Strong' Trailer
Immediately following the 9/11 attacks.
Based on Doug Stanton’s Horse Soldiers, 12 Strong is an upcoming film based on events in Afghanistan immediately following the events of 9/11. Starring Chris Hemsworth and Michael Shannon, 12 Strong tells the true story of a small band of U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan combining forces with local troops to fight the Taliban on horseback, traversing the harsh terrain with barebones World War I-era stratagem.
Hemsworth and Shannon is joined in the cast by Michael Peña and Rob Riggle. The Jerry Bruckheimer produced film is slated to debut January 19, but for now, check the trailer above and share your thoughts below.
