Supreme x Timberland Brings London out for a Taste of Americana
Something else to be thankful for.
Following on from the Independent Trucks Company release last week, Supreme continued its collaboration wave with a new capsule with Timberland. Despite the delayed release — due to Thanksgiving and corresponding with Black Friday – Supreme’s London fans still turned out for the collaboration, which features two USA-themed takes on the 6-Inch Premium Waterproof Boot. The most popular piece from the collaboration was the black boot, which features a tonal American flag motif.
Aside from the collaborative pieces, the waiting crowd also went for some strong outerwear pieces from the mainline collection. The stand-out pieces were the Leather Bones Jacket — made with leather specialists Vanson — and the Reflective Logo Sleeve Puffy Jacket as London got equipped for winter. As always, we went down to this week’s drop to get a first look at the pieces, and to see how the London streetwear crowd was styling them.
In other Supreme news, a collaborative Louis Vuitton Pudsey Bear recently raised more than $100,000 USD for charity.
