Hysteric Glamour Joins Porter for Fall/Winter 2017 Bag Collection
Militaristic bags and rock-inspired prints.
Japanese brands Hysteric Glamour and Porter have united on a range of bags and accessories for the Fall/Winter 2017 season. Porter’s sturdy gear has been outfitted in military-inspired tones and emblazoned with Hysteric Glamour branding.
Not only do the colorways of the selection takes cues from the MA-1 jacket, the offering’s fabrics have been selected to imitate the garment. Never one to play it safe, Hysteric Glamour has taken cues from various rock band for this collaboration. Imitating logos from the Grateful Dead, Metallica, Kiss and more, the collection features a selection of graphics across an array of carrying cases. Porter’s Three-Way Bag, TANKER rucksack and Shoulder Pouch feature the all-over print, while a reversible tote bag offers a camouflage pattern and other Hysteric Glamour-style imagery.
Available in an exclusive pop-up at JR Tokyo Station from October 28 to November 26, the range retails from ¥19,800 JPY – ¥42,000 JPY (approximately $170 USD to $370 USD). Porter has another relevant collaboration in the works, this time linking up with Stone Island.
