Haizhen Wang earlier this week, hit the runways of Shanghai Fashion Week to present his eponymous label’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Based around the theme of “Human Mistake,” the London-based designer introduced an eccentric lineup, which fused together various silhouette shapes, mixed-material compositions and accessory items, often within the same ensemble.

Tailored specifically for its runway show, the designer showcased an assemblage of custom Nike Air Force 1s, which not only played into the show’s artistic concept, but added a welcomed sportswear component to the luxury lineup. Covered with nylon-like stockings, taglines, such as “Fragile” and “Handle With Care” can be seen on some models, while decorative gems help accentuate the others.
