Steven Soderbergh & Netflix Introduce La Belle in 'Godless' Trailer
The creepiest preview yet.
Less than one month from now, Netflix has plans to debut a new western action and drama series titled Godless. A product of award-winning, critically-beloved director Steven Soderbergh, Godless is a seven-part “limited series” that stars Jack O’Connell, Jeff Daniels and Michelle Dockery. Set in the 1880’s, the narrative of Godless was first unveiled with last week’s introductory teaser-trailer, which presented the twisted, vengeance-driven story that surrounds Jack O’Connell’s character Roy Goode. Continuing to give viewers snippets of what to expect once Godless officially lands, Netflix has shared a follow-up vignette that elaborates on the previously-revealed details.
For the latest Godless preview, we’re being treated to a more comprehensive look at La Belle, New Mexico, the “town full of women” forced to defend their community once it’s caught up in the bloodthirsty battle between Frank Griffin’s cutthroat crew and the backstabbing Roy Goode. As today’s clip shows, there’s going to be some very serious cinematic violence once Soderbergh’s latest creation arrives.
You can view Netflix’s latest Godless trailer above, while the series will debut on the popular service on November 22.
Earlier today, a trailer surfaced in support of Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, another all-new Netflix original.
