Following his recent show in Philadelphia, A$AP Rocky sat down with GQ Style to answer a number of questions from his close friends and associates. The video is shot right after the show in Rocky’s dressing room while he’s still surrounded by his Harlem mob — Ferg, Nast, Twelvyy and Ant — and begins with Rocky breaking down a little weed and chatting in a raspy post-concert voice.
In response to his friends’ questions, Rocky ends up discussing which MC he’d name his son after, what he and the mob used to do as teenagers, his creative pursuits outside of fashion and music, and what career path would he have followed had he not been a rapper. The video interview is part of GQ‘s latest cover story that depicts Pretty Flacko, aged 29 and at the peak of his power six years after his breakthrough as multifaceted creative.
With his 4th studio album (the first one created without the mentorship of A$AP Yams) due to release later this year, it feels that Rocky is about to embark on a new chapter of his already remarkable career.
