'Akira' x Supreme Car Spotted in Front of Colette Paris
Ahead of the Akira x Supreme collaboration dropping early next year, a car done in Supreme’s signature red and displaying the brand’s signature logo — accompanied by the iconic Akira title, was recently spotted in front of Colette Paris. The #AKIRA2018 hashtag and the akira2018.com web domain, which currently redirects to Supreme’s official site also appears on the side of the car. According to reports, the emblazoned Fiat 500 is an art project by French artist Charles Monteverdi in hopes of becoming part of the frenzy that will accompany the upcoming collaborative drop. Monteverdi notes that the purpose of the car is to bring more attention to the collaboration, while demonstrating his “expertise.” Additionally, Monteverdi will communicate the result of his art project immediately after the Akira x Supreme collection is released.

The spotted Supreme / Akira car in Paris is an art project by Charles Monteverdi. The domain akira2018.com has also been registered by him which currently redirects to the Supreme website. On his website he states the project description as follows „The question arises: how to be part of the banquet for the Supreme Akira collection? An effective idea would draw „a little more“ attention to this event and indirectly, demonstrate my expertise.“ So for that he styled this car and placed it in front of Colette Paris. He also states „He will communicate soon on the result“ of the project. If you consider the current reposts and such about the car, it seems to be already working out for Charles ;-) #supreme
