Chinese designer Xander Zhou had an eventful start to London Fashion Week Men. The Beijing-based creative presented a 2017 fall/winter collection rife with progressive tailoring — there were angular finishes, voluminous shapes, and intriguing layers to say the least. Crop tops dominated, as well as oversized coats, high-waisted patchwork pants, and a striking denim range.
There’s an interesting color story in the mix for the colder seasons as well, as Zhou blends vibrant hints of blue, lime-green, orange and purple to complement the usual greys, blacks, and other subdued tones familiar with fall and winter.
