The Shoe Surgeon Unveils an Art-Inspired Air Jordan 1

Celebrated shoe customizer, The Shoe Surgeon recently unveiled his latest Air Jordan 1 custom. Constantly looking for new creative ways to customize sneakers, the Los Angeles-based creative drew from pop art this time around. The Shoe Surgeon laser printed a Michael Jordan pop art piece from artist Gillean Clark’s Iconoclast series onto premium vegetable-tanned leather. The laser-printed leather panels were transplanted onto a pair of Air Jordan 1s and The Shoe Surgeon branding was stitched onto the tongue.
