When news broke a month ago that the fragment design x Air Jordan 1 was hitting shelves at Marshalls for $60 USD, everyone went to try their luck. But when you’re an NFL wideout, you not only get your pair but you also go the extra yard to make it standout from the crowd. Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Brandon LaFell did just that by taking his pair to The Shoe Surgeon, the same guy that took the “Shattered Backboard” Air Jordan 1’s and added python and white goat Italian leather to it.

LaFell’s bespoke fragment design x Air Jordan 1 is crafted using black shark, white python and blue gator while the surgeon leaves his mark on the tongue. Check out the pics above and let us know what you think.
