Reebok has launched its annual Lunar New Year tradition by releasing special edition sneakers inspired by Chinese Zodiac signs. This year, the Asia-favorite Instapump Fury gets a unique makeover honoring the year of the Rooster. The standout silhouette features a predominantly eggshell leather upper that overlays tonal imitation chicken feather textile. An iridescent blue-green heel counter with a special totem pole design embroidered in gold thread honors the tenth animal of the Chinese Zodiac, while an orange outsole rounds out the bird’s identifiable color scheme. Other details include a black and white zig-zag pattern in the midsole gap and a rooster on the pump button. Retailing for $1,999 HKD (approximately $258 USD), the Instapump Fury Chinese New Year Rooster will be available on January 18 at select Reebok retailers such as Lane Crawford in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.
