Nike's SF-AF1 Gets a Lifestyle Makeover

Nike’s militarized version of Bruce Kilgore’s iconic Air Force 1 was a surprise hit for the sportswear giant, as multiple military-inspired colorways sold out instantly. The highly sought-after SF-AF1 features ballistic nylon, weather resistant uppers, paracord straps, and a duffle bag in the same colorway. This time around Nike mixes things up, giving the SF-AF1 a lifestyle makeover. The latest “String” colorway features lifestyle beige suede and a gum outsole that contrasts the off-white midsole unit. Retailing at $165 USD, the SF-AF1 “String” is set to release January 19 at select Nike retailers.
