adidas Originals NMD City Sock Gets a MIKITYPE Makeover
The sleek silhouette gets covered in Japanese calligraphy.
A few hours ago, sneaker photographer @sneakerprophet_ posted images on Instagram of a new special edition pair of adidas NMD City Socks. This time, the adidas Originals silhouette receives a partnership with MIKITYPE, a Japanese calligrapher and type designer who has recently worked with sacai and N.HOOLYWOOD. The collaboration pair sees the NMD City Sock in “Core Black” as the canvas, with MIKITYPE white font appearing on EVA plugs on the outer sides, a semicircle design on the inner sides, the insoles, and heel tabs. So far, little information has been released on the potential collaboration, so stay tuned for more details.
