A Closer Look at the adidas Originals NMD City Sock "Core Black/Core Black"

UPDATE: It seems adidas Originals is releasing these same NMD City Socks in a Wool Pack with the same S32184 code, only with the inclusion of taped seams; the ones pictured above may be unreleasing samples. A release date of September 9 has also been revealed.
Having already seen a Core Black with Lush Blue rear EVA plug, adidas Originals provides us with a “triple black” sample of the highly popular NMD CS1 aka the City Sock. The upper retains the Core Black striping color pattern as seen earlier, but both EVA plugs found at the midsole are now painted in a dark shade of ebony to match the overall stealthy tone. Continuing the theme, tonal gloss unit code writing is found on the medial’s arch, while the “The Brand with the Three Stripes” multilingual heel loops are set against using a subtle grey lettering. Only time will tell if this model will eventually see a black painted midsole, but for now these are as murdered out as you can get.
