The Weeknd Reveals the Title & Cover Art for His New Album

Just this week, The Weeknd purged his Instagram account of all previous posts, teasing “the new era” after calling his upcoming record “the best-sounding album” he’s ever done in his VMAN cover story. Now it looks like that album may be right around the corner.

The man himself took to Twitter earlier today to officially announce the upcoming LP. While concrete details regarding its release are still unknown, the album will be dubbed Starboy and features cover art by Nabil Elderkin. The project is set to follow his most successful release to date, last year’s Beauty Behind The Madness, which ultimately set two different milestones in The Guinness Book of World Records and had sold over 2 million copies to date.

Here’s to hoping Tesfaye’s work with Daft Punk makes the Starboy cut.
