The Air Jordan XXXI Joins the "Shattered Backboard" Family

After Jordan Brand revealed the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard Away,” it was only a matter of time before the XXXIs would join in on the fun. Following the “Banned” trend, the popular footwear company’s latest signature silhouette will don the “Shattered Backboard” colorway. Aesthetically, the design is given gradient orange and black tones with the ultra-sleek Flyweave material as its canvas. A special nod to MJ’s backboard shattering moment makes its way onto the inner portion of the tongue with a commemorative symbol. To round out the pair, it’s given a translucent outsole that displays the full-length Zoom Air Unit.
You can expect the Air Jordan XXXI “Shattered Backboard Away” to hit shelves on October 8 at select Jordan Brand retailers and online for a price of $200 USD.
