The adidas NMD Gets a Trail-Ready Makeover
Added support and a new outsole come to the NMD Chukka.
The adidas NMD Chukka is getting a makeover for the harsh, unpredictable weather that’s on the way as the Three Stripes presents the upcoming NMD C1 Trail.
As the name suggests, the design is essentially a trail-ready edition of the OG NMD Chukka. Boasting a stretch nylon upper and suede applications to the tongue and eyestay, the new look is highlighted by the addition of a leather external heel counter for added support while a rippled rubber outsole provides superior traction over that of the original runner-centric tooling. As you might expect, the NMD’s signature Boost-and-plus midsole remains untouched.
Expect both black and grey colorways of the new kicks to debut at adi spots come October 1.
