The 2018 Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Is Both Powerful and Fuel Efficient
Packing the same technology as the Porsche 918 hypercar.

Having first introduced the Panamera plug-in electric hybrid in 2013, Porsche returns with the brand new 2018 Panamera 4 E-Hybrid that touts even more electric range. Although it’s not exactly categorized as a hypercar, this fuel-efficient and “family friendly” sedan culls its powerful technology from the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder. The renowned German automobile manufacturer equips this all-wheel-drive model with an internal combustion engine that is similar to the the twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V-6 on its more swift doppelganger, the Panamera 4S. It’s capable of delivering 330 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque. Conversely, when it’s running on pure electric, it can reach 136 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Not to mention, Porsche says that the vehicle can go 0-60 in just 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 172 mph.
There is no word yet on how much this hybrid beast is going for, but expect a world debut this September 20 at the 2016 Paris Auto Show. To learn move visit Porsche.com.
