Sonos Is Teaming up With Spotify & Amazon to Give Listeners Enhanced Control Options
Your wireless speaker setup is about to get even better.
Sonos has long been the go-to when setting up the ultimate connected sound system throughout your home and now its wireless setup is about to get even better: Spotify integration and Amazon’s Alexa are coming to the manufacturer’s speakers. While the Spotify partnership will allow listeners to control the speakers directly from their app, the Alexa integration means you can control the music with the sound of your voice: simply give Alexa commands like “Alexa, skip to the next song” and Amazon’s personal assistant will do exactly that.
Spotify integration is currently slated to launch this October while Alexa will come to Sonos sometime early next year.
