mita sneakers Teams up With ASICS for a Lotus Pond-Inspired GT-COOL XPRESS
The Japanese compatriots follow up their souvenir jacket-inspired GEL-Lyte III with BEAMS.
Having already joined forces with BEAMS for one of this year’s best footwear releases, Japanese compatriots ASICS and mita sneakers are back at it, this time eschewing the popular GEL-Lyte III for a collab with a more underrated silhouette as its canvas. Calling upon the GT-COOL XPRESS (which was just resurrected in OG form back in January), the design takes cues from the gorgeous lotus ponds that can be found throughout the nations islands. The result is a predominately brown leather execution punctuated by flower-inspired pink accents throughout.
The ASICS GT-COOL XPRESS “Lotus Pond” is set to hit mita this Saturday, September 3, in limited quantities.
