adidas Creates an Office-Appropriate Suit for the Morning Dash
Look effortless as you make a sprint for the train.
Japan’s salarymen need a suit that adapts to all their needs while naturally segueing from work to play — from rushing for the express train on Tokyo’s Yamanote Line in the morning, to knocking back Asahi beers with the boss after work, and ultimately ending up on the side of a Shibuya street for the night after missing the last train home. To this end, adidas has designed the “Performance Setup” suit to keep up with the typical salaryman, incorporating DELTAPEAK stretch fabric technology and adidas‘s proprietary CLIMALITE moisture-wicking capabilities for a premium tailored track suit. Worn by Kashima Antlers midfielder Gaku Shibasaki above, the adidas Performance Setup track suit is now available exclusively at Isetan department stores in Shibuya, Shinjuku and Osaka for ¥56,000 JPY (approximately $547 USD).
