Shot once again at LAKIC showroom in Paris, nude:masahiko maruyama’s latest lookbook has arrived. Titled “DISTORTION 3,” the 2017 spring/summer collection once again turns to gothic influences as a foundation for Maruyama’s signature blending of comfortable activewear and classical tailoring. This season’s offerings heavily feature blazers and summer coats with lighter, cooler fabrics, as well as more niche items such as leather utilitarian backstraps and long patterned coats. The minimalist color palette revolving around blacks and greys is interrupted by vibrant displays of color on T-shirts and kimono pieces.
