COMME Des GARÇONS' "Black Pepper" Installation Is a Collection of Murdered-Out Abstract Sculptures
Reimagining the brand’s latest fragrance as a set of monolithic structures.
Last month, COMME des GARÇONS introduced its latest unisex fragrance called “Black Pepper” that touts an assortment of quality ingredients, including black peppercorn from Madasgascar, leather, tonka bean, Aigalawood (extracted from patchouli) and cedar wood. Each note in the fragrance has been reinterpreted as a series of large standing stones created by London-based designer Faye Toogood. The monolithic installation serves as an extravagant display for the fragrance. It is currently being housed in London’s Selfridges where it will then go on the road to Moscow later this year, as per Wallpaper.
