The BMW 2002 Hommage Gets "Turbomeister" Livery for Monterey
BMW pays tribute to Jägermeister.

Though it may have been unveiled just a few short months ago, BMW’s 2002 Hommage is arguably already one of the German automotive giant’s greatest concepts to date and now the retro-inspired vehicle is getting an inspired makeover in honor of Monterey Car Week. Dubbed the “Turbomeister,” the new look ditches the 2002 Hommage M’s livery for a nod to Jägermeister — which, as Autoblog points out, was one of the most ubiquitous racing sponsors of the ’70s. The “Turbomeister” designation also acts as an honor of sorts for the original 2002 Turbo — Europe’s first turbocharged car. As you might expect, Jäger’s signature black and orange label hues appear throughout. BMW even went so far as to employ a crest similar to the iconic stag’s head logo.
