NBA Officially Announces New 2017 All-Star Game Location
NBA’s All-Star functions head to The Big Easy.

After initially being located in Charlotte, North Carolina, the NBA officially announced that it will be shopping for a new location to host 2017’s All-Star Game due to NC’s refusal to alter discriminatory legislation towards the LGBT community. As of today, the league has announced that New Orleans will be the new venue for 2017’s festivities. Marking a quick return following New Orleans’s hosting duties of the NBA showcase back in 2014, this year’s All-Star Weekend kicks off February 17 while the closing East vs. West finale is set for February 19.
