Bikers Martin Söderström & Dawid Godziek Go "Field Trippin'' in New Video
A freestyler’s gravity-defying daydream.
Mountain biker Martin Söderström grew up in one of the flattest regions of Sweden, so he has always had to find creative ways to push the envelope and reach new heights, both literally and figuratively. In his latest edit for Red Bull, the Swedish biker teamed up with Polish BMXer Dawid Godziek to magically fly above the idyllic Swedish countryside without the aid of kickers. The two pull some historic firsts, including two new tail-whip variations and a new rendition of Godziek’s signature twister, performed for the first time on a BMX bike.
Söderström attributes his creativity in the face of flat land to the pioneering bike film Life Cycles. The rider naturally felt a modern tribute to the film both necessary and appropriate.
Red Bull will be releasing a behind-the-scenes video on August 12.
