Here's the First Full-Length Trailer for Antoine Fuqua's 'The Magnificent Seven'
A gritty Western from the director of ‘Training Day’ and ‘The Equalizer.’
This past April, Sony Pictures Entertainment dropped the teaser trailer for Antoine Fuqua’s The Magnificent Seven. Recently, the Training Day and Southpaw director’s remake debuted its first full-length trailer that raises the bar with a slew of Wild West skirmishes. Despite its PG-13 rating, this new clip features a bevy of galloping horses, spontaneous gunfire and explosions—the crux of any hearty Western. The narrative involves Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt and their shoddy, yet determined batch of five other outlaws who must gunsling their way to rescue a small town from a group of tormentors. The film also stars Haley Bennett, Martin Sensmeier, Ethan Hawke, Peter Sarsgaard, Matt Bomer, Vincent D’Onofrio, Byung-hun Lee, Cam Gigandet and Vinnie Jones.
Could this Western live up to its predecessors? Watch the action-packed clip above and take a look at the official poster below. The Magnificent Seven is slated to hit theaters September 23.
