Nike’s controversial, yet versatile training shoe, known as the Metcon 2, is back once again this time rocking a “Royal” color combination. For those who don’t remember, its predecessor, the Nike Metcon, was banned in 2015 from CrossFit competition despite receiving much support from the CrossFit community for its immense flexibility and durability. In efforts to reposition this model back to its former glory, we see slick color schemes as this iconic “Royal” black and blue combo. The Flywire constructed uppers receive a healthy dose of both colors while sitting on an outsole treated in clean white. No further info is available regarding a release date, but stay tuned for updates.
