ESI Design Creates a Mesmerizing Motion-Activated Mural
A mural that moves when you do.
From the very moment you first step inside the lobby of the Terrell Place building in Washington, D.C., you’re more than likely to catch wind of ESI Design’s bold motion-activated mural before all else. The media-enabled design includes a 1,700-square-foot mural that seamlessly blends into the wall surfaces — creating an ever-evolving installation that moves as you do. As mesmerizing as it is bold, the display features three distinct modes: ‘Seasons,’ ‘Color Play,’ and ‘Cityscape,’ which are programmed at varying lengths and sequences — ensuring a change of scenery even for those who arrive and leave at the same time everyday. Check out the video above for a closer look at how this mural works.
