Nike Air Max BW Gets the American Treatment

Just in time for the 2016 Summer Olympics being held in Brazil, Nike Air Max BW will pay tribute to the historic sporting event with a special commemorative colorway. Initially released in 1996 during the Atlanta Olympics followed by a retro in 2004, the classic silhouette is dressed in signature USA colors. Navy dominates its upper construction which is accentuated with white accents encompassing the component. Encapsulating the patriotic theme is evident with bright pops of red gracing the Swoosh across its side panels, branding on the tongue and on the heel, which also bears a custom-made American flag.

The Nike Air Max BW “USA” releases on July 7 at select retailers, including SneakerPolitics.
