HYPETRAK Pokémon GO Playlist

Pokémon GO is now the biggest mobile game in U.S. history, and once it hits Asia, it’s most likely going to be the biggest one in the world. The game’s got sedentary people living actively again. It’s successfully getting strangers to socialize with each other. Most of all, it’s making childhood dreams of the millions of Pokémon fans worldwide come true. In celebration of such a good cause, we’ve put together a Pokémon GO Playlist — songs to accompany you on your journey into becoming a Pokémon master in case you are’t feeling the game’s soundtrack. The Playlist is jam-packed with Pokémon-themed bangers, like Lil Uzi Vert’s “Team Rocket,” JME’s (known Poké-fanatic) “The Very Best,” a cover of the theme song by Domo Genesis, and other tracks of various genres that remix and/or sample music from the franchise’s TV show, movies and video games. Artists include likes of JNTHN STEIN, Alexander Lewis, Stwo, KRNE, DJ Smokey, $UICIDEBOY$, Psychic Type, Nick Coletti, JOURNAL, White Katana, GRIMECRAFT, SUPA GUCCI and more. We even feature those who don’t make Pokémon-sampled music but have Pokémon-inspired artist names like Bubbly Bulbasaur, Cheeky Charmander, dope diglett, e e v e e, HAUNTXR and Mssingno. Of course, we had to include the classics: the original Pokemon theme song by Jason Paige, the “Go Pokémon Go!” rap song by Sam Milby and Juan Antonio De la Paz, and “Pokémon Johto (Season Theme)” by John Loeffler and John Siegler.
