The adidas ACE 16+ Soccer Boot Is Now a Laceless Lifestyle Boost Silhouette

The likes of Gareth Bale and Paul Pogba put on quite a show at the recently-concluded EURO 2016, wearing their boot of choice — the ACE 16+. To help its marquee players recover during the off-season, adidas has released the ACE 16+ PureControl Ultra Boost as a lifestyle alternative to its high-performance soccer boot. Featuring the sportswear giant’s beloved combination of Primeknit and Boost technology, the laceless silhouette features an extended collar and tonal Three Stripes branding along the side panel. Available in a vibrant “Solar Yellow” and more muted “Black” colorway, is this adidas’s answer to Nike’s Air Footscape Magista Flyknit? Both iterations are set to drop on July 13 for $200 USD.
