Here's a Closer Look at UNDERCOVER's Vans Era
Takahashi’s take on a skater staple.
Jun Takahashi’s Spring/Summer 2017 UNDERCOVER menswear collection was one based around the idea of quotidian use and clothes Takahashi himself wanted to wear. Here’s our first look at the most wearable of the collection: a rework of the iconic Vans Era silhouette that the designer cooked up with Vans Vault. The skate shoe’s toe features the opening lyrics of English rock band Temple’s “Shelter Song“: Take me in time, time to the music / take me away to the twilight zone.
So far, the kicks have been previewed in white, red and black. No release or pricing info has been released as of yet.
