LYFE is a planting pot that floats in midair. Designed by the creators of FLYTE, a levitating light, LYFE takes growing plants to another level by “freeing them from gravity.” Inspired by studies that showed gravity’s negative effects on plant growth, the FLYTE team wanted to make a beautiful but also practical planter. The result is a geometrical pot that uses magnets to levitate. The magnetic levitation also allows the planter to rotate, so light can be distributed equally. Learn more about the planter on its site here, and anticipate its Kickstarter campaign to begin on June 1.
