Flyte Levitating Lamp

Flyte is a stylish and innovative light bulb that appears to float in midair atop its wooden base. The eye-catching and seemingly gravity-defying illusion is created by artist Simon Morris and is made in Sweden using sustainable oak, ash and walnut. The light bulb levitates using magnetic levitation, and is powered wirelessly through the air. The lamp not only serves as a light source, but can wirelessly charge your phone as well. Morris has been experimenting and playing with magnetic levitation for years, with previous projects in collaboration with Nike and Urban Ears. His interest has led him to create this fascinating contraption, definitely a sight for the eyes and aesthetically mesmerizing.
