Lanvin’s 2017 Spring/Summer Collection Is All About Freedom
“This collection is not about a single concept but rather a collage made up of different possibilities.”
Holding firm as Style Director at Homme de Lanvin for the better part of 10 years now, Lucas Ossendrijver recently unveiled the 2017 spring/summer collection and had much to say by way of his sartorial design. “I decided to go with room and creativity. This collection is not about a single concept but rather a collage made up of different possibilities. It’s about freedom.” With such an expressive concoction of colors, prints, textures and layers, one can easily encounter a strong sense of liberty. Glen plaid patterns paired with rainbow colored tops, ornamental arrows and carabiner-esque contraptions, not to mention stripes in opposing directions within the same ensemble, somehow all made appearances in this avant-garde offering.
