On June 6 Converse proudly presents a brand new footwear series that honors its basketball heritage with contemporary updates. Intended to introduce new design elements into one of the company’s most iconic sneakers, the All Star Modern collection comes directly inspired by the Converse 1920 All Star model and puts forth two new streamlined silhouettes: the Hi ($140 USD) and the Ox ($130 USD), each offered in in “Black,” “Action Red,” “Lucid Green,” “Soar Blue” and “White” colorways.

Constructed from lightweight circular knit uppers with Nike’s Hyperfuse technology and a TPU-fused overlaid toecap, both models sit atop contoured full-length Phylon outsoles. A split neoprene tongue and lining add stylish details to one of the brand’s most daring silhouettes since being acquired by Nike.

Catch the Converse All Star Modern when it hits Converse’s retail stores and the online shop on June 16. In addition, be sure to check out the special premiere edition All Star Modern developed by HTM which will release on June 9 at Nikelab for $180 USD.
