CONTRABAND just released its new 2016 spring/summer editorial titled “Game.” With the local basketball park used as the backdrop, this pictorial aims to capture the “athlesiure” and metropolitan aesthetic that’s currently driving men’s fashion. Thom Browne and Raf Simons set the tone of the spread with sportswear-inspired pieces that elevate the notion of casual dressing. On the flip side, Haider Ackermann, Rick Owens and Dries Van Noten items are carefully styled to reflect those brands’ fashion-forward ethos. Garments from Damir Doma, 3.Paradis, CHILDS and Robert Geller are also included to streamline the contemporary vibe of the shoot.
