COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS Presents a See-Through 2017 Spring/Summer Collection
And a matching clear Nike Dunk High.

For 2017 spring/summer, COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS did not hold back in what appeared to be a tribute to Hans Christian Andersen’s short story, The Emperor’s New Clothes. Rei Kawakubo included translucent fabric in nearly every one of the looks that came down the runway — from plastic raincoats, to sheer baseball shirts and even an elongated clear tank top. Although transparent is definitely a trend this season, the Japanese designer took it to the extreme — printing phrases on see-through garments like “The King is Naked” and “Beauty is in the eye.” Other than the translucent look, there were some interesting tailored pieces to be found in the form of deconstructed short suits and fabrics with fish, faces and polka dots. In the footwear department, a clear COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS x Nike Dunk High collaboration was spotted, which should prove to be a must-have for CDG enthusiasts next spring.
