The BMW x PUMA X-Cat Disc Transforms BMW's Fabric-Covered Concept Car Into a Sneaker
Seamless futurism.

While not the first collaboration between a car marque and a sneaker brand to hit our pages, the BMW x PUMA X-Cat Disc is certainly the most futuristic. Drawing inspiration from BMW’s wildly unconventional and utterly divisive fabric-covered GINA Light Visionary Model concept car, the X-Cat takes the same laser-cut GINA material that covers the car and applies it to its own upper for the same stretchable and super-lightweight qualities. PUMA’s proprietary DISC lacing system adds the final touch of forward thinking to the sneaker, with a simple rotating disc interface for fuss-free tightening. The BMW x PUMA X-Cat Disc will be available at PUMA retailers from July 1 onwards.
